Also, their complementary appetizer spread was great as well. The spicy cucumbers are my favorite of the bunch.
The one downside of Tofu House is the parking. I've often said that San Diego is home of the shitty parking lot, and this is the flagship of the fleet. It's probably why I don't make it there very often.
Oh well, if you're there anyway...check out Tofu House. You won't be disappointed.
The decor is asian mall foodcourt, nothing special or anything to impress the eyes. Most of the stews are not really much to look at either, although there is a little fun in getting a crockpot with bubbling broth (same goes for fajitas at the mex joints).
I've never had a bad batch of brew here, it's like spicy asian soup for the soul, especially on a chilly or rainy day.
