My parents live around the corner from this local favorite, so I was happy to give it a shot for lunch one day while I was in town. It may have been my fault, but I was on a pretty tight timeframe for scarfing down my lunch.

After navigating the intimidating menu, chock full of a variety of signature sandwiches and other entrees, I had less than 40 minutes to get my food and consume it. Long story short, I did have my sandwich served after waiting about 35 minutes. I asked for it to be wrapped to-go. Even that took longer than I had time to wait for.

So I did finally take down a handsome looking breaded chicken cutlet sandwich - dubbed the Tony Soprano - about a day later. The night in the refrigerator didn't work any wonders for my meal, and it was certainly what you'd expect of a day old sandwich. I don't want to do the restaurant the disservice of calling it a "1" in this comment card. But I certainly can't grade it as if it were served on time and eaten on site.

So I'm sticking with a middle-of-the road review of the food, mainly because my companions did report enjoying their meals. I'm certain that I'll be back, and I'll add a comment card that does the place justice.

But then again... 40 minutes waiting for a simple lunch is really not optimal either... I guess we'll see...
